I've always loved this song to death, it's so beautiful and I thought of it a lot after reading Fallen's story...

The Offspring
"Gone away"
form the labum "Ixnay on the hombre"

Maybe in another life
I could find you there
Pulled away before your time
I can't deal it's so unfair

And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it feels
Yeah it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away

Leaving flowers on your grave
Show that I still care
But black roses and Hail Mary's
Can't bring back what's taken from me
I reach to the sky
And call out your name
And if I could trade
I would

And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it stings
Yeah it stings now
The world is so cold
Now that you've gone away

I had to double check the name of the band. I didn't know Offspring had such lyrics. Never heard the song though.

"What did the city get from you, Montag?"
"Ashes"

Yeah, i though you'd be surprised. And not only you Wink But they do have. In fact, Ixnay on the Hombre is waaaaaaay different than the next two albums. Which are good, but not really serious...I'd recommend "Amazed", and "Change the world" too. Off the same album.

I buy a few CD's a week, this one's going on my list.

"Any government that would deny a gay man the right to bridal registry is a fascist state."

I'm still too lazy to buy any records. And for the most part, I don't see them as something to put my money in. There're the obligatory exceptions, of fourse...
