Hmm, I had thought about installing a hack to allow images, so I might do it. I would have to limit the height and width to a certain size (your's is good).

methinks we should also require all sigs to be gifs, and not animated, either.

Any reason you want them to be gifs? Jpegs can be compressed just as small and can't be animated.

i just think gifs look better, i suppose.

i  mean, i can make an index color gif, and make it look WAY better than a jpg of the same size...

That must be an artist thing. I never noticed a difference, except that using gif compress code costs money and jpeg doesn't.
