people who are homophobes really piss me off.

1. why do you even care what other people do behind closed doors in their private life?

2. i'm not gay, but i've known a handful of gay people, and they're just like anyone else. people who think that gay people are different are fucked in the head. gay people can be really cool, or really lame. JUST LIKE STRAIGHT PEOPLE.

3. if someone is gay, it doesn't make them inferior. sure, they may not be able to breed, but then again another screaming mouth to feed isn't something the world needs right now, is it?

True. The only thing with homosexuals is that I don't understand them. That's my only "problem" so to speak. But I have nothing against them. Some of them can be really annyoing because of the gestures and mimic, but that's about it.

1. if you see two gay guys, they're just two males you'll never have to worry about stealing your g/f...

2. if you see two lesbians having sex, there are two women who have no interest in your entire gender, let alone you as a specific specimen...

That first point you made is what I try to explain to people i see against homosexuals. You are right from the moral point of view, but you gotta admit that visually, the two cannot compare. But then again, this is an argument a straight guy can make...

Well, that's kinda the whole idea behind all most fears and hates. Humans have this chain: What they don't understand, they fear. What they fear, they hate.

Now this chain probably got you far back in the stone age, but really doesn't fit in today's world. But how could a tiger shake his stripes? And as today's people realize, that it's stupid to hate them just because you don't understand them (and god forbid, you can't admit, even to yourself, that you don't understand something like that), they come up with all these great reasons to hate and abuse them. Sad, but hate's so human. We should zoom out a bit and take a look at ourselves. Are our hates something more than not understanding how some one/something could do/be that?
