fuck.

what a waste of 16 dollars.

this album is a fucking pile of shit.

burton sounds like such a fucking useless shitbag metalhead on this shit.

i definately do not recommend this album.

i don't even think i can return this, either.

if they won't take it back, i'll just leave it there, because i fucking refuse to own it.

Wow.  I'm not a metalhead by any stretch of the imagination, but I like "Soul" a helluva lot.  I mean, it's certainly light years behind "Demanufacture", but it's still got some decent stuff.

what can i say? i expected to hear burton's trademark soaring vocals, and they were absent.

all i heard was someone trying to be something he's not.

That's true.  With the exception of "Scapegoat", it's pretty much just "Dry Lung" material.

"scapegoat" was one of the tracks that disappointed me most.

a very generic sound.

sounds like they were covering stone cold steve austin's theme music.

seriously. watch smackdown, listen for austin's new theme music, and tell me they don't sound oddly similar.

Y'know, you've got a point.

I always assumed that SCSA's original music (ie: post Ringmaster) was a rip-off of "Cyclops" by Manson.

actually, i believe it was a re-working (or sorts) of razor ramon's music.
