i suppose, by conventional standards, my income would be considered "poverty" level.

but you don't take into account that i live with my girlfriend, and her income will match mine.

basically, half of my monthly income will go to half of our bills, and the same with her.

leaving us about $1200 a month to play with.

remember, the american standard of "poverty" is a whole heck of a lot different than the standard of poverty world-wide.
