Yeah, I read this yesterday.  Good article.  And anyone who thinks that a war in Afghanistan is gonna be a cake-walk would be well advised to read this.  It's written by a British special forces dude who helped prep Afghan soldiers for their war against the USSR, a war which was seen by the US as an opportunity to fight the Red Menace without actually engaging Russia by supporting the Afhganistans.
