Being sadly mistaken... | and it made me sad
A few days ago, I went to pick my sister up from school because my mother had called and said she wouldn't be off in time. I assured her that I'd pick her up, and I went back to sleep. She called again fifteen minutes before three, and I got up and went to the school. I stayed on the corner (out of the pick-up lanes), and waited for her to come out.
Keep in mind that I hadn't changed/bathed at all, and I was still wearing my pajama pants and a t-shirt. I had been there for a few minutes, when this huge dog came over and demanded I acknowledge his cute-ness. He stayed there with me for awhile, and finally school was over. I was standing (as people tend to do) when a few girls walked across the field towards their car. As they were coming across the field, they nodded towards me and started talking to one another. My first thought was, "Ugh...gossip-y teenagers."
But then I heard one of them ask, "Who is that?"
Her friend replied, "I don't know...some guy."
To which the first one said, "Ooh...he's hot."
And to my horror, they were talking about me. I was so damn angry, but then I realised it was only because I'm actually NOT a guy. Silly, right? It would seem so, except that for a long time now I've wished I were male. Oh, how I wish.
Anyhow, when they got to their car, the dog walked over to them and they patted his head before telling him to "go back to his daddy". And then they winked at me. They...winked...at me.

I'm such a playboy.

"Any government that would deny a gay man the right to bridal registry is a fascist state."
