This day
This day wasn't good. It being midsummer eve, all people are out. Noise, barbecue, puke... AAARGH!

And it was hot (21C, and I'm starting to feel bad at 15 (yeah, yeah, my ALT isn't working, so I can't put the degree-sign in)), and sunny all day.

Pretty much the only good things were that I figured out how to kick ass with house Ordos, in Emperor, and I got Postal on my HD. Bloodymess

Is Emperor a new game or something? I'm not familiar with the name.

if you expect any sympathy from me, you're going to have to express measurements of tempurature in farenheit.

Yeah, Emperor is Westwoods latest addition to the Dune franchise, and it's actually pretty decent. Especially after all the C&C shit they have been spewing lately. Anyway, what's the secret with Ordos? I'm playing with them, and they keep sucking more and more the longer I get in the game...

Cool, I'll have to check it out. I've always loved the whole Dune theme, the movie and the books.

Use 3-5 Lasertanks to attack enemy heavy units (more and they will get messed up with eachother). Head towards them and when you get in range, pull quickly back after your tanks have fired a shot and before enemy has time to fire back, or just circle around so that the enemy doesn't have time to turn and fire. Try to battle around dustbowls as these will hinder enemy manouverability, but won't affect the hovertanks.

Use cobras (6-7 is usually enough) and 20-30 AA troopers for the last crush, aided by chaos lightning if available. Few chemical troopers mixed in to kill the enemy infantry. Deviators are usually a nice addition to take over minotaurs or devastators.

Defensive turrets combined with cobras and mortars are pretty good defence. If you pick off the enemy artillery with lasertanks, a defencive line made from gas turrets and pop-up turrets, with mortars and a cobra in between are usually going to whip up enemy. AA troopers are pretty damn good against enemy armor. Those bazookas aren't toys...

And Foe, that temp's (21C) around 70-75 F.
