Strangest thing...

Got the strangest phone call just now...It was a girl. It went like this:
"Hi"
"Hi"
"What are you doing?" I was already hesitating, not recognizing the voice.
"Watching TV"
and then immediately
"Who are you looking for? I think you got the wrong number"
"I got the right number!"
"Which number did you dial?"
"This one"
"Well this is *I tell her my phone number*"
"Exactly"
"So who are you?"
"Guess."
"I don't get it."
pause.
"A hint, maybe?" I continue
She started "I....V....T..."
"What are these? Innitials?"
"Yeah"
"It's still not coming to me"
"So who are you? You aren't who you're supposed to be" (meaning she wasn't my baby
"Who would you want me to be? Who was I supposed to be? How do you know?"
"Well..."
"How do you know?"
I pause, then go "Because I just talked to who you were supposed to be!"
"Ah...Ok then." and with a lowering voice "I must have the wrong number then"
"Yeah. Keep looking..."
"I will" she almost whispered and hung up...

The thing is that the voice sounded sersious, or at least not joking at all. Hum...I V T...Don't ring any bells.
