now, we're not trying to be jerks by making this folder, and enforcing the rules involved with it's creation. hear us out.

how many times have you started a folder to talk about "product x", and had some replies like this:

"product x sucks ass! only an idiot would buy product x!"

?

sucks, doesn't it? of course, you could ignore the person, or try to get them to explain their rationale, but more often than not, it simply defeats the entire thread, and other people are less likely to respond.

so, that's why this folder is a good idea.

you can rant, rave, talk shit, and act like a flaming moron with a handful of dogshit in your pants.

it's ALL good. we really don't want to discourage people from speaking their mind, it's just that there's a time and a place for everything.

so, anything we think falls under the category of a rant or a rave will fall under scrutiny.

which usually means that we'll delete the ranting/raving post ( and likely make note of it by replacing your post with something like "moved to rant/raves" ) from the original thread, and place a copy of that thread here, fully intact, so that if the person you're ranting towards would like to persue the argument/debate, they can do so.

like i said, we're not going to censor you entirely, we're just going to ask you to respect the board, and do everything in it's proper place.

so, enjoy the board, and have FUN, because that's what this is ALL about...
