actually, robb, is there a way you could make the "Do you wish to preview before posting?" feature work for polls?
oh, and how about making it so that when you edit, the "Edit Successful" page forwards you to the last page of the topic?

Ahhh, not all at once!
Actually, the preview feature on polls I will look into... and the redirect on the edit page should be easy enough to do...
One thing to consider though, as the amount of hacks we have increase, the harder it is for me to update to the newest version. Plus, IB3 beta came out a few weeks ago and I was planning on setting up a test forum using it. We'll have to consider what we like better, IB2 or IB3, they are vastly different. Most of these hacks and fixes I've been doing to this board have been included in IB3...
As far as topics and posts are concerned: the code that counts topics and posts is throughout the board scripts and would be difficult to change. I would think the easiest way is to add the two variables at the display bit on the front page. I can try that.

Probably, the look is completely different. If you've been to ikonboard.com recently you can see what it should look like until I get this one up.
Actually, I'm going to try and get the test board right now. A new version was released already that is suppossed to be pretty stable.

Well, I can't get iB3 to work. The installer script is really screwed up and creates nested directories and doesn't finish up correctly. I'll have to wait until a new version is out.
