i got "gundam gp-01" yesterday.



these figures are pretty sweet. they're listed as being safe for "ages 4 and up", but they're really not safe for small kids, as you can easily take this figure apart with your bare hands.

pretty cool though. roughly the same size as the g.i. joe figures from the 80's, and they're wicked cheap, too.

i just got "deathscythe" today.



all the yellow accents on the figure are gold on mine, though.

i just realized that this gundam from the avatars list is the same one as the first one i mentioned in this thread...

I'm not really into action figures, but I like miniatures and have painted a few. The thing I've always liked about miniatures was the amount of detail that went into something that small. It seems that the action figures are being made with a lot more detail nowadays (Spawn figures for instance), so they are looking a lot cooler.

yeah, companies like mcfarlane, resaurus, and fewture are really raising the bar.
