Finally received my copies of the long awaited (for me at least) Natasha: A biography of Natalie Wood, the first ever bio on the greates woman that ever graced the Earth, and Henry Miller's "Black spring", recommended by Inertia.
Yus!  Enjoy!  First I convert absy, now you!  Soon all will worship at the altar of Miller! Wink

Not to sound like an ignoramus, but who's Natalie Wood?  Actress?  Name sounds familiar...
I barely remember hearing the name 'Henry Miller' at some point in not so recent history. Smile
Inertia, I have never been so diappointed in my life. What's wrong with you people? You're the second one here to not know who the goddess is...You've heard of James Dean or Marilyn Monroe right? These two and Elvis already got suo much undeserved publicity and hype, and the greates actress of all time (it's not just me saying this) didn't...
Rebel without a cause, Splendor in the grass, West Side Story etc etc etc. Most beautiful woman that ever lived.
Come to think of it, I don't remember having ever heard the name Natalie Wood. And West Side Story's the only one of those films I remember hearing something of.

None of those people you mentioned ever really appealed to me. :/
Me either. Except Natasha.
Okay, I've seen "West Side" roughly 3.21 ba-jillion times, thanks to my high school drama teacher.  Was she Maria?
Yeup.
Splendow in the grass and Inside Daisy Clover are truly superb movies.
Damnit, I hate being so young.... it makes me feel so uncultured next to you lot.....

Mind you, I am more cultured than a lot of people my age.... I think.....
Age has nothing to do with it..I was 2 when Natasha died...
What I mean is that the longer you have been around, the more chance you have had to experience things..... money also helps damnit.....
Yeah, I'd like money too. How old are you again?
16!

nothing else to say.....
