i dunno how widespread these beverages are, but we had them here and there in new hampshire, and there all over the place here in chicago.

you might have seen their "jones soda" line, with all kinds of kick-ass flavors.

well, i just tried one of their new (to me, anyway) "jones juice" drinks.

this flavor is called "dave". the front of the label lists green tea, hemp, ginseng and royal jelly among the ingredients.

turns out it's only 5% juice, though.

however, it does have 1000mgs of hemp, 120mgs of ginseng, and 6mg of royal jelly in it.

there's a little blurb on the back of the label that reads:

Quote:We've always wanted to call a beverage Dave and we couldn't think of a better Dave than green tea with hemp. Dave is calm but not boring. Hemp is a source of omega-3 fatty acids, not bad for a weed. Along with ginseng and royal jelly, we put together a green tea with personality. BeChilled. Run with the little guy... create some change.

no, not really.
My uncle is called David Jones. He's a ballet dancer. He has a beard and looks good in a leotard.
your uncle, david bowie and one of the monkies all have the same name.

you oughta' be proud.
yay. i got a bottle of Purple Carrot today, and it has one of the rare-ish 360° labels.
