I used to have little 3" long dreads. they were nice, but you have to keep 'em waxed and stuff so that you don't get flyaways (frizz) and shit and make 'em look decent. but watch out, once the roots get dreaded (the roots take probably about a year or so)if you decide you don't want to keep 'em you gotta save your head. but if the roots don't dread you just soak your head in conditioner and keep coming it and stuff. eventually they'd come out. but you will loose hair whilst combing 'em out.

well, sort of, but not really. yes, you lose some hair when taking them out, but not as much as you think. a large bulk of the hair that you think you're "losing" is actually hair that would have been falling out, naturally, on a daily basis that simply wasn't allowed to fall away. it's the same thing with braids. a lot of people who get braids done aren't aware of this, and when they get them taken out, they sometimes go off the handle because they think they're balding, when in fact, they're just seeing all the hair that was going to fall out anyway.

yeah thats what I mean. but you will pull some hair out during the combing out process. but not enough to notice.
