Paper Hearts was written in fifteen minutes after an argument I'd had with someone. I Emailed a friend and used the story to illustrate a point; it wasn sent off and forgotten. She told me she loved it and forwarded it back to me because she thought I should keep it. I don't like it or dislike it - I wrote it, it's there, I know what the ending is so it doesn't really arouse any emotion in me. Suffice to say it's a very personal story and each of the people the girl meets represents someone I know. So if you know me, you may understand it more fully, I'm not sure.
Who writes anything great in fifteen minutes?
Sorry I wasn't here to see it. This was a really nice gesture. I post on a lot of boards, some of them not so frequently. I'm sorry people took this action as an act of war. It was never intended to be so: when I leave a board, I kick up a melodramatic fuss about it.

yeah, it certainly says something, doesn't it?
after all, she went back to a board where she was kicked around like a soccer ball.
although, i can't fault her. maybe our pace, or our style of community just doesn't suit her.

I am disappointed about Buzz. Maybe I should erase this whole topic..She was on the unmentionable board to announce her bday and get wishes and all...seems like she's made her choice. There, I said it. You asked for it.

there's something about pets that really bothers me.
maybe i should get an ocelot. those look cool as all fucking hell. then i could get a bumper sticker for my non-existent car that says "my pet cat could gut your cat in a blink of an eye"...

Yes well, the feeling didn't come about by itself you know.
And I was wrong. The cat didn't bite my face. He snuggled with me and began purring. The other cat bit my toes though.
And the puppy keeps licking them!
