Yeah, but it aint for def. Well have to see.

that kinda sucks.

i always liked the drawn textures more than the "soft skin" technique where they use 360 degree photos to skin the characters.

Thats what i mean. Well, Im not sure, I assume the way you meant is right, but the guys who went to E3 wrote a shite review, you cant tell what they mean. They just assume that you know the difference between the 4 or 5 types of FMV, just by them saying FMV.

But, it will have great close up shots, and the pic of Trip doing a Pedigree is cool, he has a real sadistic look on his face and druel. But, i think the faces are gonna be videose, and altered, and placed on. So, the faces are actually already inputted, maybe with 2 or 3 different looks, depending on how much youv taken. And the bodyw will be done on the fly, but with a bit of scanning tech, added.

oh, i just assumed you meant "video", not "pre-rendered" footage.

i still think it's cheesy. they should just have a sequence where the characters are being rendered on the fly, with more detailed character models and textures.

Do you know what I mean?

Not an actual video, just a high quality cut scene. Like in Resy 3. But in that she changed costume every 5 minutes during the game. Maybe your right. But its been done for sure on RAW IS WAR for the X-Shit-Box

JuggleFoe Posted on 8:11 am on July 2, 2001
i think it would suck.

they'd have to film a seperate one for your wrestler against every other character in the game. plus, they'd have to film another set if your character was bleeding.

it's just not a good idea.

Yeah, like a set sequence for the finishing moves, it would be great, but may not work with created characters.

JuggleFoe Posted on 4:43 am on July 2, 2001
fmv for finishing moves?

yuck.

WILL Posted on 1:40 am on July 2, 2001
Right.

PSone - Smackdown 3.

50 wrestlers + .most likely
50 different matches
improved graphics
improved gameplay
4 players on screen with slight slow down

PS2 - Smackdown 3
25 Wrestlers - Due to harder programming.
70 different matches
radically improver graphics, including better enterances
radically improved gameplay
8 players on screen NO slowdown.
Probable FMV sequences for finishing moves.

Well, Im Paying the extra for the PS2 version. What about you?
